A little more detail

How do votes and Champions work?

Rankings shows valid preferences for the selected category, competition and dates. Equal votes share a rank; zero votes have no rank.

Weekly, Daily and Flash arena

New arena battles count one active preference per verified account per battle. Changing sides replaces that preference until the exact UTC end. Profile supports and legacy weekly votes never add a second arena vote. Different battle types and periods stay separate.

Weekly lasts 168 hours, Daily 24 hours, Flash 2, 6 or 12 hours. Flash requires advance agreement by two independent verified product owners and editorial scheduling. Participation is free; payment cannot buy admission, votes or wins.

Weekly requires at least 30 valid participants: with one ballot per account, this also exceeds the previous 20-person requirement. Daily defaults to 20 and Flash to 10 for their shorter windows; the moderator sets the published threshold before scheduling. Below the threshold, on a tie, or after cancellation, no single winner is named. Results with votes awaiting review remain provisional. These checks do not guarantee that every account belongs to a different human.

Weekly, Daily and Flash may run in parallel. A product cannot join overlapping accepted or scheduled windows of the same battle type; votes remain separate by battle and period.

Deleting an account withdraws its open arena preference. Rejected and under-review moderation decisions remain attached to its private ballot fingerprint and cannot be cleared by re-registering. A private per-battle identity fingerprint prevents deletion, re-registration or switching login methods from adding a second ballot; it does not merge accounts or grant roles.

Free editorial applications

Verified owners of published products can apply for Weekly or Daily matching from the maker dashboard. Editors review the product and explanation, then assign a suitable future scheduled battle or reject with a reason. A rejected application can be resubmitted. Applications are not reservations, and payment never changes acceptance priority.

Champions

After closing, moderators resolve pending votes and finalize a permanent tally. One clear winner meeting the published threshold earns free visibility from the exact battle end: seven days for Weekly, one day for Daily, or the Flash duration. Late finalization does not extend the window. Ties, low participation and cancellations have no single Champion. Expired winners move to the archive; audited cancellation invalidates a result without rewriting its snapshot. Sponsored placement stays separate.

Legacy weekly support rules

These rules describe preserved history. New profile support and legacy matchup writes are closed at the service boundary; vote only in a current arena battle. Historical counts can change only through a reasoned, audited staff correction or privacy deletion. Closed-week supports are anonymized on account deletion; open-week supports are removed.

  • You need an account with a verified e-mail address to vote.
  • Each person can vote for each app once per week. You can vote for several apps in the same week.
  • Voting in the battle of the week is your vote for that app — it never adds a second one. Switching sides moves the vote you gave in the battle.
  • “Not sure yet” is recorded but earns no points.
  • You can withdraw a vote until the week ends (Sunday 23:59 UTC).
  • A vote only shows as saved after our server has stored it.

Legacy history rankings

  • Apps are ordered by the number of valid votes in that week. “Change” compares with last week’s position.
  • Equal counts share the same position (for example 1, 1, 3). Inside a tie, apps are listed alphabetically; that order means nothing.
  • Every ranking shows its sample: valid votes, number of people, and votes still under review.
  • A week champion is named only after the week ends and only if it reached at least 30 valid votes from 20 people. Tied leaders are co-champions. Below that, we say clearly that no champion was named.
  • Rankings show what people preferred this week. It is not a technical quality test or a review of accuracy, security or support.

Legacy network review

  • When more than 3 accounts vote from the same network in one week, further votes from that network wait for a moderator before they count.
  • Moderators can reject votes that look manipulated. Rejected votes never count. Every decision is logged.
  • We never store your IP address; we keep only a salted fingerprint that changes every week.
Something wrong? Send an appeal or correction.
  • If your vote was rejected or you think a result is wrong, send an appeal within 7 days after the week ends. We answer within 7 days.
  • Profile facts come from each app's official site and pricing page, with the check date shown. Makers can claim their profile; anyone can send a correction.
What about makers and sponsorship?
  • Product listing, claims, basic company profiles and organic battle participation are free. Sponsored budgets are separate from organic results. The old fixed-price slot and manual confirmation are closed; card checkout is not open.
  • Sponsored compares verified net budgets only within the same date range and currency. Refunds reduce the budget; pending, disputed, refused, future and expired campaigns do not qualify. A product appears only once, with at most two homepage cards.
  • Independent third-party requests require review and may be refused by the current product owner. Request approval is not payment or a placement guarantee. Any refund review stays pending until provider evidence settles the balance.
  • Community positions, votes, wins and editorial acceptance are not for sale. Paid promotion never buys priority in the free battle application queue.
